The Beaver Jazz Band

The Karns Jazz Band performs annually at the Knoxville Jazz on the Square in Market Square downtown, as well as other performances in the greater Karns area. Jazz band meets as a class first period in the fall semester. During class, the ensemble learns the charts, old standard jazz tunes, as well as fundamentals of how to make up improvisational solos.
